Advertising student at Boston University fascinated by the marriage of media and tech.
Based in Boston and sometimes in the Silicon Valley.
My favorite font in grade school was Trebuchet MS, and in retrospect, it totally makes sense now. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom, with three years of professional experience.
I was the photography editor of El Estoque, my high school's newsmagazine. I specialize in photojournalism and portraiture, and my inspirations include Robert Capa and Richard Avedon.
As marketing chairman of a scouting admin committee, I pushed its communications into the digital age by setting up a comprehensive Facebook page and mailing network to advertise our events. No more scouts licking stamps anymore.
I like to design things.
I accidentally learned InDesign when I volunteered to design a page for my high school's newsmagazine in Cupertino, CA that nobody wanted to do. From then on, I've picked up a number of jobs:
I am currently studying Advertising at Boston University on the track for early graduation. I like to self-study UI/UX and create unsolicited redesigns in my spare time. Currently, I am exploring internship opportunities to further my understanding of the world of advertising and new media.
You can get all detailed on my résumé. Wholesome, truthful, and best of all, it's free!
I earned 21 merit badges; topics range from shotgun shooting to global citizenship. I was an active leader in the troop, culminating to being elected junior assistant scoutmaster and preparing a renovation project for California Historical Landmark #800.
I am a member of the Order of the Arrow, the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. I reaffirmed my dedication to the Order's ideals of cheerful service by serving Northern California as a marketing chairman for two years.
Given by the Photography Guild of Los Gatos in its junior photography contest, the largest contest within the SF South Bay area. Alongside I won an honorable mention for photojournalism.
